When most people think of fast food, they either think of cheap, comforting convenience or questionable health choices, but one thing most people DON’T think of is mass murder. Sadly, though, fast food restaurants have seen their share of violence, and on tonight’s livestream, we’ll discuss a handful of these appalling cases, including the 1991 Luby’s massacre in Killeen, Texas; the 1984 McDonald’s massacre in San Diego, California; the infamous Fast Food Killer, Paul Dennis Reid, who murdered seven people across three restaurants, and more. You might not want to super-size that order as Tom and Jenny exlore the dark side of fast food on a grim and gruesome episode 286.

It was Easter Sunday, 1975, in Hamilton, Ohio. The Ruppert family was spending it as many families did, preparing a festive meal in the kitchen and having an Easter egg hunt on the front lawn. Suddenly, unassuming James Ruppert, who had spent the previous night drinking in his favorite bar, emerged from an upstairs bedroom bearing several firearms, and began to open fire on his celebrating family members, ultimately killing eleven people, including several children. What made this supposedly quiet man snap and wipe out his family? Join Tom and Jenny on this disturbing tale of mass murder on a tragic and terrifying episode 285.
