Not only was this only the second gore film ever made (after Lewis’s own 1963 Blood Feast), it was also the very first hillbilly horror (or hicksploitation) movie ever! Jenny discusses an awesomely bizarre British black comedy/surreal horror film directed by Peter Strickland (who also directed Berberian Sound Studio), ostensibly about the havoc wreaked by a cursed red dress.
