It’s the day after Christmas, and all through the house, Tom and Jenny are streaming while getting quite soused. On this fun, creepy, and madcap livestream, we’re going to be discussing two very different topics (since the Patreon topic poll was a tie, so we figured what the hell). First up, we’ll be delving into the so-called Lead Masks Case, in which two Brazilian men were found dead in 1966 with lead masks over their eyes and cryptic messages left near their corpses which suggested all kinds of crazy theories, from alien intervention to a spiritualist cult. Then, we’ll be talking about the storied history of the famed British mental asylum, Broadmoor Hospital, which has been home to some of the country’s most notorious and violent criminals, from the Yorkshire Ripper to Ronnie Kray to the Stockwell Strangler, and discussing some of these famous patients. Stumble out of your post-holiday haze and spend a cheerful Boxing Day with us on episode 228.
