We’ll talk about 10-year-old Mary Bell, who murdered two little boys in Newcastle-upon-Tyne in 1968; Eric Smith, a 13-year-old who brutally murdered a 4-year-old in 1993; Jesse Pomeroy, a 12-year-old serial killer from the 19th century; the infamous case of Robert Thompson and Jon Venables, who lured toddler James Bulger away from a shopping mall in Merseyside and beat him to death; as well as a few other examples of childhood gone impossibly wrong.
