13 O’Clock Episode 119 – The Mythology of the Jinn

On today’s mythological installment of 13 O’Clock, Tom and Jenny are delving into the fascinating world of the jinn, spirits of Islamic (and other) tradition who are sort of akin to angels and demons, but also kinda their own thing entirely. Probably best known in the U.S. from the story of Aladdin and his Magic Lamp, the mythology surrounding jinn actually goes much, much deeper, and features in a vast array of tales and still-extant belief systems. Sit back and relax as we make like Scheherazade and regale you with stories on a magical episode 119.

13 O’Clock Episode 92 – Spring-Heeled Jack, Mad Gasser, and Devil’s Footprints

Victorian London is terrorized by a diabolical, high-jumping figure with metal claws and eyes of flame. A town in Illinois falls prey to a phantom gasser in the mid-1940s. And an estuary in Devon, England plays host to a very long and mysterious trail of hoofprints that might have been left by Satan himself. On this fun, folkloric episode, Tom and Jenny are discussing three weird cases of possibly paranormal origin: the legend of Spring-Heeled Jack, the Mad Gasser of Mattoon, and the Devil’s Footprints. In our news segment, we’re also giving an update on our old pal the Angry Gay Pope, whose anti-Scientology channel has been the subject of a YouTube ban, and we’re discussing the recent death of renowned parapsychologist Guy Lyon Playfair, famous for his extensive work on the Enfield Poltergeist case. Settle in for a creepy rundown of urban legends, mass hysteria, and more on episode 92.

13 O’Clock Episode 38 – Case Files of Ed and Lorraine Warren

They’re not saying it’s demons…but it’s the Warrens, so yeah, it’s always demons. On this episode of 13 O’Clock, Tom and Jenny have an entertaining and digressive discussion about OG ghost hunters/demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren and the controversies surrounding them, as well as some of the high-profile cases they were involved in, such as the Haunting in Connecticut, the Smurl family, Annabelle the haunted doll, Amityville, and the case behind The Conjuring. And remember kids: everything is demons. DEMONS!

If You Missed Us on End of Days Radio, Here’s Your Chance to Catch Up!

This past Saturday night, the God of Hellfire and I were guests on a “couples night” edition of End of Days Radio, which also featured husband-and-wife demonologists Kenneth and Farah Rose Deel. You can listen to the whole thing if you want, or you can start at about two hours and twenty minutes in, when our part gets rolling. Not only do we talk about poltergeists, but we also answer some personal questions about our relationship, if you’re into that kind of thing, or are nosy about how we got together. Heh. Enjoy!
