Episode 243 LIVE: Creepy Disappearances, Volume 5

On this mysterious installment, Tom and Jenny delve into several heartbreaking cases of missing persons, including the 1946 vanishing of college student Paula Jean Welden, which served as the inspiration for the Shirley Jackson novel Hangsaman. We’ll also discuss some other cases of eerie disappearances, such as Evelyn Hartley and Georgia Wexler, vanished from Wisconsin and speculated to be victims of Ed Gein; as well as the disappearances of Ronald Tammen, Logan Schiendelman, and the chilling vanishing of three women at once–Suzanne Streeter / Sherrill Levitt / Stacy McCall–from their home in the 1990s. Verify your location and tune into a litany of horrors on a LIVE episode 243.

13 O’Clock Episode 187 – Creepy Disappearances 3: Sherri Papini, Jennifer Kesse, and More!

On this heartbreaking installment of 13 O’Clock, Tom and Jenny are discussing four missing persons cases that were recommended to us by listeners. We tackle the Sherri Papini case, in which a woman claimed to have been abducted and then returned three weeks later; the chilling disappearance of Jennifer Kesse from the parking lot of her Orlando condominium; the tragic case of Alissa Turney, which might involve a close family member; and the bizarre circumstances surrounding the vanishing of step-siblings Joshua “J.J.” Vallow and Tylee Ryan, a case that not only involved the missing children, but also three murders within the family. Check on your loved ones and make sure your cell phone is charged, it’s an eerie missing persons panoply on episode 187.

13 O’Clock Episode 141 – The Disappearance of Madeleine McCann

On this tragic and creepy installment, Tom and Jenny are discussing what is probably the best known missing persons case in the world: the disappearance of little British four-year-old Madeleine McCann from her family’s holiday apartment at a Portuguese resort back in 2007. The case has been turned into a labyrinthine, eight-part Netflix series, but we thought we’d do our own spin on the sad incident. Hold your children close and tune in to a mysterious episode 141.

13 O’Clock Episode 108 – The Boys from Yuba City, aka the American Dyatlov Pass

On today’s cold and creepy installment, Tom and Jenny are tackling an oft-requested, mysterious unexplained deaths case: the so-called Boys from Yuba City, otherwise known as the American Dyatlov Pass incident. In 1978, five young men disappeared in a snowy California forest, only to be found months later with no explanation as to how they ended up where they did or why they ended up dead. All this, plus a brief news story out of Georgia about a Jane Doe found dismembered in a landfill. Bundle up against the inclement weather and warm your frozen tootsies by the fire of episode 108.

13 O’Clock Episode 100 – True Crime Variety Special with Guests, Video, Kitties, and More!

Yes, we’ve reached an important milestone, folks: it’s 13 O’Clock’s big, bad ONE-HUNDREDTH episode! For months, we threw around different ideas about what to do for it, and in the end, we just decided to give our listeners more of what they seem to love most about the show: drunken rambling and horrific true crime stories. Plus, for those tuning in on YouTube, you will get to see videos of us in all our glory, plus little snippets of video of our kitties, and a 360 of our little office/studio, where the magic happens (the audio version doesn’t have video, obviously, but is still awesome and fun, so don’t feel left out)!

We also have special guests on the show: Shana, Eric, and zombie baby Demonika of BattleGlitta, who drank and laughed along with us as we delved into twenty of the most eerie and unpleasant true crime stories I could find. Creepiest disappearances! Horrible massacres of entire families! IT’S A MADHOUSE! Plus it’s like three hours long, so y’know…everyone take a potty break and gather all the snacks you’ll need before you settle in for the very long, vaguely incoherent, irreverent, and half-drunk installment of 13 O’Clock that IS episode 100. Hope you guys enjoy…we couldn’t do it without you! 🙂

Please go check out BattleGlitta! Our friend Shana makes kick-ass jackets and vests for men, women, children, babies, grandmas, grandpas, and probably puppies and kitties too, if you ask nicely.

13 O’Clock Episode 62 – Vanished! Five Creepy Cases of Unsolved Missing Persons

Murders are horrific and terrifying, sure, but there’s something that’s somehow even creepier about people who simply vanish without a trace. Were they murdered, did they die in an accident, or did they wander off of their own accord? And how to make sense of the strange clues that they often leave behind? On this episode, Tom and Jenny are continuing their eerie October theme with several of the most unsettling missing persons cases of recent times, including the case of Tara Calico and the disturbing Polaroid found in a parking lot, the bizarre disappearance of a mother and daughter from the same place nearly a year apart, the eighteen-year-old boy who vanished after leaving work and whose abandoned car was discovered with the headlights on and a live puppy inside, and many other ominous and perplexing details about people who just up and disappeared one day. Fix your location definitively in space and time and settle in for episode 62.

Also, if you have a TRUE creepy story that happened to you or someone you know (it doesn’t have to be paranormal, just scary), please email it to me at gravecake@gmail.com and we might feature it on our special Halloween episode!
