Tom and Jenny discuss the amazing and sadly underseen 2000 movie Shadow of the Vampire, directed by E. Elias Merhige and starring John Malkovich, Willem Dafoe, Udo Kier, Eddie Izzard, and Cary Elwes. It’s a fanciful horror/drama/black comedy film exploring the scenario that actor Max Schreck from F.W. Murnau’s classic silent film Nosferatu was an actual vampire.
