Anyone familiar with paranormal activity is surely aware that in most purported poltergeist cases, there is usually an emotionally volatile adolescent in the affected home who is suspected to be the focus of the manifestations. This is not always the case, however, and there have been a handful of interesting instances where poltergeist shenanigans broke out in a home where no teenagers were present, or where the teenager was obviously not the source of the problem. On this episode, Tom and Jenny discuss a few cases of poltergeist outbreaks where there was no clear focus, or where the focus appeared to be an adult or someone much older than usual. We’ll be covering the Indianapolis Poltergeist case from 1962, the Miami workplace poltergeist from 1966, Don Decker the Rain Man, the St. Quentin case from 1986, and the Atlanta blood poltergeist from 1987.
