Episode 483: Spoon-Bending “Psychic” Uri Geller

Uri Geller shook the world with bent spoons, broken watches, and bold claims of psychic power—but what really lies behind the legend? In this episode, we dive into the hype, the controversy, and the decades-long battle between Geller and the scientific and skeptical communities. From TV triumphs to spectacular failures under controlled conditions, from CIA curiosity to brutal debunkings, this investigation exposes how illusion, psychology, media manipulation, and belief helped build one of the most polarizing figures in paranormal history.

13 O’Clock Episode 419: Famous Psychics and Their Failed Predictions

You probably could have seen this coming, but on this episode of 13 O’Clock, Tom and Jenny are discussing a few of the most famous 20th-century psychics and their (usually wrong) predictions. We’ll talk about Jeane Dixon, who rose to fame after supposedly foreseeing the assassination of JFK and then went on to advise former First Lady Nancy Reagan. Then we’ll look into Sylvia Browne, who made loads of TV appearances and claimed to have consulted on a number of high-profile missing persons and murder cases. We’ll also discuss Allison DuBois, the inspiration behind the crime show Medium starring Patricia Arquette. And lastly, we’ll shine a light on Miss Cleo, whose 900-number psychic network commercials were all over late-night TV in the late 90s and early 2000s. Gaze into your crystal ball as we try to tap into the energies of the universe (or something) on a woo-woo-infused episode 419.

13 O’Clock Episode 127 – Edgar Cayce: The Sleeping Prophet

On today’s prophetic installment, Tom and Jenny are delving into the fascinating life of early 20th century psychic and medical clairvoyant Edgar Cayce, aka The Sleeping Prophet, who is also known as the father of holistic medicine. From an early age, Cayce allegedly talked to spirits, and was able to parlay his purported abilities into telling the future, interpreting dreams, and diagnosing (as well as healing) people’s illnesses from afar. He was also way ahead of the curve on the nutrition and wellness boom, and is sometimes touted as one of the founding figures of the new age movement. Align your chakras and balance your auras, because it’s about to get all Age of Aquarius all up on episode 127.
