Before you take a handful of Tylenol for that headache, you might want to tune in to the latest LIVE installment of 13 O’Clock, on which Tom and Jenny discuss the infamous 1982 case that was actually the impetus for the familiar tamper-resistant packing we all take for granted today. Yep, on this episode, we’re talking about the Chicago Tylenol murders, a horrific series of killings perpetrated by some as-yet-unidentified psycho who decided to put cyanide inside random Tylenol capsules in and around Chicago drugstores. We’ll also talk about some of the copycat crimes that occurred in the wake of the appalling incident, and how the laws were forever changed afterwards. First we’ll talk about “Jolly” Jane Toppan, a nurse in the early 20th century who poisoned dozens of people, supposedly for pleasure; British doctor and prolific serial killer Harold Shipman, who bumped off as many as 250 people out of arrogance and monetary gain; orderly Donald Harvey, who may have killed as many as 87 people; and nurse Beverley Allitt, whose Munchausen by Proxy syndrome led to her killing four children and attempting to kill several others. 13 O’Clock Episode 210 LIVE: The Collar Bomb Heist

In August of 2003, a dude walked into a Pennsylvania bank with a bomb strapped around his neck and asked for $250,000. When police caught up with him shortly afterward, they got to watch as the bomb exploded and killed the guy before the bomb squad could get there. The case was weird enough on its own, but as the investigation deepened, even more bizarre details began to emerge, until the heist involved a handful of crazy conspirators and even a couple more murders. Settle in for a twisting, VERY drunk, and explosive (sorry) journey into one of the strangest bank robberies ever attempted on a live episode 210.

13 O’Clock 205 LIVE: Serial Killer Andrei Chikatilo

On this horrific episode, Tom and Jenny are recounting the crimes of one of the worst serial killers in world history, Soviet-era murderer Andrei Chikatilo, otherwise known as the Rostov Ripper. Chikatilo is though to be responsible for between 52 and 56 murders in the Ukraine between the years of 1978 and 1990, and was also notorious for the shocking mutilations and cannibalism inflicted on his helpless victims. Forget glasnost, this is some Soviet-era horror on episode 205.
