In 1888, amid the crushing poverty of the East End in London, a shadowy figure stalked prostitutes, slaughtering and mutilating at least five of them over a relatively brief period. The murderer was never caught, and over the ensuing century, countless theories about the identity of the killer have swirled around, some of them more fanciful than others. So join 13 O’Clock on a journey through the dim, cobblestone streets of Victorian London as we break down the horrific crimes and the numerous suspects that have come to light in the years since, on a grisly episode 257.
