On yet another true crime-related episode, Tom and Jenny are discussing a serial killer who has resurfaced in the public consciousness recently because of a popular Netflix documentary: Ted Bundy. The handsome, charismatic (according to some) Ted is still a fascinating topic, since his supposedly clean-cut veneer masked a sociopath of almost unimaginable proportions, who murdered at least thirty women in horrifying ways. What was going on behind those blandly good-looking features that made him such a monster? And what were the consequences on the families of the victims? Keep your barf bag handy and maybe drink some soothing tea (or booze), because episode 132 is about to get rough.

13 O’Clock Episode 131 – Mackinac Island Hauntings and More!

Returning to the paranormal on this installment of 13 O’Clock, Tom and Jenny are drunkenly discussing a haunted location requested by one of our listeners…Michigan’s Mackinac Island. This small patch of land located in Lake Huron is like stepping backward in time, as no motorized vehicles are allowed on the island, and all construction must adhere to traditional Victorian architecture. The island also boasts several haunted locations and legends, including Fort Mackinac, the Drowning Pool, the Grand Hotel, and the Mission Point Resort. And since we’re not content to contain the ghost stories to just one island, we’ll also be delving into some other creepy tales emerging from the Great Lakes, including legends about ghost ships and the cryptid known as South Bay Bessie. Put on your wetsuit and dive into the frigid waters of episode 131.

13 O’Clock Episode 130 – Valentine’s Day Special: Killer Couples UK Edition – Fred & Rose West, Brady & Hindley

It’s almost Valentine’s Day, and what better way for 13 O’Clock to mark the occasion than with a special holiday edition, comprising two of the most infamous killer couples in British history. First up, Tom and Jenny explore the appalling case of Fred and Rosemary West, a married couple who perpetrated unimaginable atrocities on their own children as well as several young women they hired on as nannies. Next, we’ll focus on Manchester’s notorious Moors Murders, carried out by sadistic couple Ian Brady and Myra Hindley, in which the pair would lure passing children into a van and then proceed to rape and torture their victims before burying the bodies on Saddleworth Moor. Cuddle up with someone you love and listen in to episode 130, as you thank your lucky stars that your Valentine isn’t as fucked up as any of these depraved monsters.
